Focuses on performing economic feasibility for projects including detailed financial analysis and due diligence to ensure that the client’s vision comes to life in a manner consistent with the goals of the sponsor while ensuring an efficient approach that maximizes the viability of the project. The group also works with outside advisors and lending institutions to provide the project with the necessary resources to help with the structuring of the capital requirements of the project. Often, the group will advise on alternate financing structures which include the use of proprietary insurance credit enhancements in conjunction with debt financing which can lower the cost of capital for the project and act as a catalyst for lenders to finance projects that otherwise might be viewed as unsuitable for their lending criteria.

Finding the right capital
Focuses on capital arrangement services through its partnerships with various capital markets desks across investment banks in the US and Europe. Depending on the type of project, whether it be a Private Public Partnership that could benefit from access to Public Financing to high quality cross-border infrastructure projects that would require access to the international capital markets, the group has strong relationships with the investment banks and Private Equity/Credit funds that typically provide capital for these projects. Services also can include project placement with General Contractors, Construction Management companies and or Developers looking to acquire new projects in the event the sponsor is looking to JV or sell their interests.

Members of this team have worked on projects from $50MM to multi-phased mixed-use projects spanning over a billion dollars in size. The group has experience working on projects in the US, Caribbean and other international locations. The goal of the team is to provide unparalleled representation that not only includes project planning but also contract negotiation and procurement services that can lead to a more efficient and cost-effective project and ultimately to the bottom line for the Developer.
